Welcome to our Alder Gulch Accommodations web site. Our lodging facilities include the Fairweather Inn in the heart of historic Virginia City. Montana, and the Nevada City Hotel & Cabins just a stone's throw from Virginia City, in Nevada City. We are open mid-May through mid-September.

Furnished with antiques, the rooms at the Fairweather Inn in Virginia City offer a glimpse into the past. Six of the rooms have private baths, and the other eight rooms share facilities “down the hall”, much like hotel rooms in the late 1800’s. All rooms have one or two double beds and a sink. Centrally located, all restaurants, shopping, entertainment and activities are within easy walking distance. In the evening you can enjoy the illustrious Virginia City Players or the Brewery Follies.

The accommodations in Nevada City include fourteen hotel rooms and seventeen cabins. All guest rooms at the Nevada City Hotel & Cabins have private baths or showers. Rooms have one or two double beds, and some cabins can accommodate families of five or more. Two rooms in the hotel are Victorian suites with beautiful period furniture. Meals are available next door at the Star Bakery, or you can catch the steam train to Virginia City. On weekends you will have a chance to enjoy living history events presented in Nevada City by the Montana Heritage Commission .
